Responsibilities
Provide supervision and support for youth in the residential evening reporting center. Facilitate group sessions, plan and prepare meals within budget, maintain and expand resource materials for group sessions. Keep accurate records of group sessions, provide transportation to and from center daily, develop and carry out plans for each resident’s maximum personal growth in the group setting, as well as develop and carry out plans for the entire group to reach maximum productivity. Will provide counseling for residents under the direction of a clinical therapist and program director. Must possess knowledge and understanding of community resources and will be expected to attend community meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral, counseling, social work, or related field is required.
- One to two years of experience is required.
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field, is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes.
- Requires a valid driver’s license/auto-insurance or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
