Job description
Monday-Friday 8: 30AM-5:00PM
Utilizing the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to the diabetic patient population in accordance with the medical plan of care, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Coordinates the care with other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Department Director
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) is strongly preferred, however, applicants with applicable experience and ability to pass the CDCES exam within one year may be considered. Two years recent nursing experience required. BLS certified.
