Job description
Pay Range
Targeted salary Up to $15.00/hour, based on experience.
Benefits: Eligible: No
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Standard/Fixed Schedule
Travel: Not required
Position Introduction
- Tutor for 1st year Occupational and Physical Therapy Students
- Work up to 10 hours a week, tutoring students in program-related coursework.
- Focus on helping students integrate the course and lab content such that they can understand the material and apply their knowledge during each particular course and future courses.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Required Education and Experience
- Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma.
- Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
- Required GED or High School Diploma
Skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook)
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to build rapport with guests, students, faculty and staff
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations in a calm and professional manner
