Afternoon Support Staff – Classroom Floater

The Learning Experience is seeking a dependable Afternoon Support Staff / Floater to assist classrooms during afternoon routines and end-of-day transitions. This role supports multiple classrooms while helping maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment for children and families during pickup hours.

This position is ideal for someone looking for a flexible afternoon schedule in a collaborative childcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Support classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children Assist with afternoon activities, playground supervision, and classroom transitions Provide ratio coverage across classrooms as needed Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment Support teachers with classroom cleanup and end-of-day preparation Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members Follow all state licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma required Prior childcare experience preferred Comfortable supporting multiple age groups Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented approach Must meet state childcare licensing requirements
