Almadan Inc. is looking for a part time BCBA - 10 hours per week

Summary of position

The DDS Division clinician provides clinical support to the agency’s DDS funded programs including residential, shared living, and in home supports. Clinical supports include Positive Behavior Plan development, staff training, PBS Plan monitoring, meeting attendance, and direct support as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • · Develop and monitor the effectiveness and implementation of Positive Behavior Plans for individuals · Assist in evaluating referrals and transitions when applicable · Attend staff, DDS Risk, Clinical team, and leadership meetings as needed. · Provide ongoing clinical training to support staff Develop or update Psychotropic Medication Treatment Plans · Maintain data and tracking of all plans
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Quality Assurance and Training to ensure effective data tracking systems for treatment efficacy.
  • Participate in the agency’s Positive Behavior Supports Leadership Team
  • Develop procedures to teach social, interpersonal and relationships skills.
  • Interact respectfully with families, guardians, DDS and other agencies or stakeholders concerning clinical issues.
  • Maintain current approval of treatment plans by all relevant committees and agencies.
  • Document treatment progress.
  • Make appropriate clinical recommendations when external clinical supports may be needed
  • Assist with communication with external clinical parties as needed for information relay and advocacy for positive outcomes for individuals served.
  • Provide and interpret data to psychiatrists to facilitate discussions regarding psychotropic medication.
