GA Pre-K Assistant Teacher -- Ringgold, Georgia

Your Role as a Pre-K Assistant Teacher

  • We are seeking passionate educators like YOU to assist the GA Pre-K Lead Teacher oversee classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the GA Dept of Early Care and Learning, and aligning with the objectives of the current GA Pre-K Curriculum.
  • In this supportive role, you'll contribute to creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children and their families, helping to forge strong, supportive relationships.
  • Your involvement will be crucial in assisting with the planning and implementation of learning experiences that promote various developmental domains, such as physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive abilities, and creative expression.
  • You'll also play a key role in observing and assessing the children's development, aiding in the customization of curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child.

Pay and benefits

Pay

15-18 per hour, based on experience and education.

Qualifications

  • School
  • Diploma, and hold at least one of the following qualifications: a Technical Certificate of Credit in early childhood education, a Specialist degree or PhD, a Paraprofessional Certificate issued by the GaPSC, a Master's degree in any field, a Georgia teacher certificate, a CDA credential, and a Bachelor's or Associate degree in any field.
