Job description

The Athletic Trainer I is responsible for the prevention, assessment, immediate management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and conditions. The AT provides quality healthcare services to assigned schools and/or coverage sites. This position is responsible for being engaged within the schools, sites, and communities, acting as an ambassador for Baptist Health Care, Andrews Institute, and the Sports Medicine department, facilitating access and availability for all health care services. This position plays an integral role in educating appropriate personnel (i.e., coaches, athletic directors, administrators, officials, etc.) on emergency preparedness, injury prevention, and best practices for the health, care, and well-being of student-athletes, spectators, and staff.
