About the Role

As a Supported Employment Specialist I (Job Coach) at SOAR365, you'll play a hands-on role in helping individuals with disabilities achieve meaningful, competitive employment. Key Responsibilities & Duties The Supported Employment Specialist I (Job Coach), provides direct and indirect job coaching and employment supports to individuals with disabilities, helping them develop, maintain, and strengthen skills needed for competitive integrated employment. This role includes conducting assessments, supporting job development and follow-along services, and stepping in to provide coverage or assistance when other staff are unavailable. The Specialist collaborates closely with Employment Specialists, supervisors, and program leadership to build professional skills, develop relationships with inclusive employers, and maintain community business contacts. Responsibilities also include providing transportation when needed, working a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends, meeting monthly billable hour requirements, completing accurate and timely documentation, attending required trainings and meetings, and ensuring compliance with all agency policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Requirements & Qualifications Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in human services, education, social work, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in human services, education, rehabilitation, or a similar setting. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with individuals with disabilities, families, employers, and partner agencies, and apply a person-first, individualized approach to employment planning. Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills are essential, along with an understanding of positive behavioral supports. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required, as well as the ability to pass a SOAR365 driving test and maintain driving eligibility. The position requires obtaining and maintaining CPR/First Aid and Therapeutic Options certifications and completing the ACRE certification within the first six months of employment. Hours & Schedule Must be able to work a flexible schedule (nights and weekends required) **Sign-on Bonus: $2,000.00*
