As a School Nurse (RN), you will

  • Provide direct care to students for acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school policies
  • Monitor and manage student health records to ensure compliance with state regulations
  • Develop and implement care plans for students with medical needs
  • Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, including disease prevention, hygiene, and wellness
  • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary
  • Collaborate with school staff and community health resources to support students' well-being
