Testing Center Facilitator Grapevine Faith Christian School exists to develop and graduate authentic Christian leaders.
Position Summary
The Testing Center Facilitator supports the mission of our school by providing an organized testing center that meets the needs of Elementary, Junior High and High School students in the Academic Services Program and students with IEP accommodations. The Testing Center Facilitator will report to the ASP Director and respective principal.
Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt/10-month
Responsibilities
Seeks to model in speech, actions, and attitude, a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ. Manage elementary, junior high and high school tests for students that are in the ASP program. Schedule and coordinate mid-term and spring finals with ASP team, faculty, parents and students. Collect IEPS for each student in the ASP program, tracking each student's accommodations. Maintain scheduling information for each student participating in ASP. Create a weekly testing schedule for students in the ASP program to ensure IEP accommodations are met and supplies are available. Maintain and track student records who utilize the testing center, including testing times, the specific accommodations used on each test and electronic filing. Oversee the text-to-speech platform for each student. Schedule makeup tests with students in ASP who are absent on testing days. Communicate effectively with the ASP team, classroom teachers, parents, administrators and students Maintain communication with parents as needed. Attend department ASP meetings monthly. Maintain and uphold the religious standards of Faith Christian School including the Lifestyle Statement, Staff Covenant and Statement of Faith. Responsible to disciple, instruct and actively pray for the students on our campus. Responsible to reinforce a Biblical Worldview in every workplace interaction with both students, staff and faculty. Other duties as assigned that are closely related to this position.
Qualifications
Must possess and model a personal authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and be a member of a Bible believing church. Must have the ability to manage confidential information. Works well with students and staff; has a pleasant demeanor. Organized, reliable, and detail oriented. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations. Bachelor’s Degree is required.. Special Education Certification or knowledge of students with learning disabilities/SPED (including student needs, accommodations based on their diagnosis, IEP paperwork and ARD meetings) required. should we say preferred/experience in here Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and relational skills and the ability to adapt to new technology. Uses acceptable English in written and oral communication. Speaks with clear articulation. Knowledge of classroom management (Elementary, Junior High and High School)).
