Job Description: Assistant Swim Team Coach
Qualifications
Background and knowledge in competitive aquatics Excellent leadership skills Ability to work with and motivate swimmers at practices and meets Excellent written and verbal communication skills with Head Coach, swimmers, parents and YMCA staff Current YMCA v6 lifeguard, BLS, BFA, Emergency Oxygen Administration, other certifications as required.
Responsibilities
Attend regular practices as scheduled by head coach. Approximately 6-10 hours a week Attend YMCA dual meets as needed Assist Head Coach in planning swim meet and other team activities Other duties as directed by the Head Coach Starting Wage: $11.50-$12.50/hr - commensurate with experience
