Founded in 1977, Mosaic Counseling is a nonprofit mental health organization dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, compassionate care across Ottawa and Kent Counties. What began as a community response to unmet mental health needs has grown into a trusted resource connecting individuals and families to personalized, professional counseling services. Mosaic serves as a central access point, connecting clients to a diverse network of licensed therapists while ensuring care remains accessible and affordable -regardless of insurance status or financial circumstances. Through our unique model and commitment to equity in care, we work to remove barriers and meet people where they are. In addition to individual counseling, Mosaic Counseling offers a range of programs designed to support the well-being of the broader community. These include our School Outreach Program, which provides in-school therapy and early intervention for children and adolescents; Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services that support workforce mental health; QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) suicide prevention trainings; and a variety of community education and advocacy initiatives aimed at increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and strengthening community resilience. Through these efforts, Mosaic Counseling continues to build healthier, more connected communities - ensuring that mental health support is not a luxury, but accessible to all.
