Job description
- The Old Colony Y is excited to be hiring for a dynamic strength-based, empathic, and professional Clinician who has strong communication and rapport building skills to work with families in our new Comprehensive Family Services Program!
- The Clinician will have an integral role as part of a team approach, along with an Old Colony Y Outreach Worker, in helping children, youth, and their parents/caretakers, who are referred by the Mass.
- Department of Children and Families, to strengthen and preserve the family unit, and enhance child safety and well-being.
- The Clinician will provide home and community based inclusive care and individualized treatment interventions to families on an assigned caseload through assisting them in achieving treatment plan goals, building and enhancing practical life and parenting skills, and making connections to community resources.
- The Clinician will also lead the team in completing assessments aimed at addressing and increasing social emotional competence, promoting resilience, and increasing the protective factors for child safety and welfare.
- Accordingly, the Clinician will develop treatment plans to address identified strengths, needs, and goals.

Qualifications
Master's Degree in the Human Services field (Masters in Social Work preferred and clinical license preferred) with experience working with youth and families.
Knowledge of child development, behavioral interventions, and implementing treatment plans preferred.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate cultural humility with an ability to work with diverse populations within the agency and community.
Flexibility and ability to respond to families in distress and with emergent needs in a fast paced work environment.
Driver's license, clean driving record, and insured vehicle to be able to drive and transport consumers within the local communities. Mileage reimbursement is provided for all travel assignments.
