About the role

The coach will work with small groups of children in grades K-6, developing their golf skills, physical literacy, and teamwork abilities using a specific and progressive curriculum. A key role involves using positive reinforcement to help children build confidence and develop gross motor and socialization skills.

TGA runs the leading school-based youth sports enrichment programs for grades K-6.

We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible sports coaches to impact the lives of the children we serve and introduce golf in a fun and playful way.

As a coach, you will work with small groups of children across various ages, developing their skills, physical literacy, and teamwork abilities.

At YAU, we believe in using positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to help each child feel confident, regardless of their age or skill level.

With over 20 years of experience, we have a best-in-class curriculum that is specific and progressive to every child's developmental needs.

As a coach, your role will be instrumental in the development of children's gross motor skills and socialization skills, making a positive impact on their lives.

This job is perfect for part-time workers, retirees, high school and college students, stayat- home parents, nanny, teachers, and anyone else with a flexible schedule who have a passion for sports, love working with young children, and wants to give back to their community!

The ideal team member will have experience working in Tennis, Golf and/or Pickleball Schedules will vary but class times will typically fall between Monday-Friday: 1:30pm - 4:30pm (Varies by school) Strong sports background with general sports knowledge.

Must have reliable transportation as all programs are run at local schools and parks.

Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with children and parents.

Must be punctual (classes are held after school in the afternoons and children are counting on you) Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bring your personality to make classes fun Maintain Equipment and Kit bags Update class rosters and complete student progress reports Flexible Schedule Part Time Hours between 2:00pm – 4:30 pm / Monday - Friday Wages $40+ (depending on experience and performance) / Class Summer Camp work availability Programs run with school calendars New Employee Referral Fee

Requirements

Candidates must have a strong sports background, general sports knowledge, and experience working with young children, preferably in Tennis, Golf, and/or Pickleball. Reliable transportation is mandatory as programs run at various local schools and parks, and the individual must be punctual and able to communicate effectively with children and parents.
