Core responsibilities
Job coaches work one-On-One providing job coaching and training to individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities (Idd) within a general work setting to help them explore, seek, choose, acquire, and maintain employment. Responsibilities include empowering individuals to obtain meaningful employment, enhancing job skills through monitoring and documentation, educating employers, and advocating for inclusion and reasonable accommodations.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess one year of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (Idd) and must have a high school diploma or equivalent, being 18 years or older. Acre certification is required, and cesp certification is also mentioned as a potential qualification.
