Day Camp Counselor

Counselors will actively supervise and engage with groups of children, leading various games and creative programming while ensuring a safe and clean camp environment. They must build nurturing relationships with campers and effectively communicate with parents and staff while modeling ymca values.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and typically require a high school diploma or equivalent, with college experience preferred. Experience working with children in group settings and proficiency in activities like sports or aquatics are preferred, along with obtaining required safety training shortly after hiring.
