Job description

  • Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Share and support the mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the school.
  • Teach Catholic values and stories of faith through the daily curriculum.
  • Provide instruction using play-based learning and hands-on teaching methods.
  • Maintain classroom order and promote a positive, respectful, and faith-centered environment.
  • Incorporate Catholic values into interactions and classroom management.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
  • Supervise students in various settings, including the classroom, lunchroom, and outdoor recess areas.

Complete diocesan requirements for religious instruction within three years of employment; maintain 18 hours of religious certification formation every three years 5. Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and positive communication with colleagues and administration 6. Maintain discretion with confidential or official information 7.
