Middle School Learning Specialist (34014)

The specialist collaborates with the learning center team to ensure cohesive k-8 programs, oversees small-Group learning support, and provides direct, individualized learning support focusing on executive functioning and academic strategies for middle school students. Responsibilities also include reviewing outside reports, developing learning profiles, communicating with families, coordinating accommodations for assessments, and coaching faculty on neurodiverse student needs.

Candidates must be experienced learning specialists or educational therapists, preferably holding a master's degree or equivalent, with five or more years of experience in elementary and middle school education, ideally within an independent school setting. Experience reading neuropsychologist reports and familiarity with differentiating instruction and universal design strategies are beneficial.
