Core responsibilities
The resource teacher will design and implement systems for executive functioning lessons for grades 5-8 students, support students in self-Paced asl coursework, and collaborate with specialists and teachers on individualized support plans. Responsibilities also include leading an after-School homework club and offering daily morning office hours.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree is required, and a teaching credential is strongly preferred, with a special education degree being a plus. Candidates should have experience working with diverse learning differences, strong organizational and communication skills, and at least two years of teaching experience in grades 5-8 is preferred.
