Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher is responsible for assisting the director and head teacher in the general supervision and management of the children. Duties include creating a safe environment, planning activities, and maintaining communication with parents.

A high school diploma and one to two years of experience working with children in an established child care center are required. Training in early childhood education is also necessary, with a preference for an associate’s degree or cda in education.
