Core responsibilities
The assistant teacher will supervise and ensure the safety of children aged 5-12 while collaborating with classroom staff to plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-Based program activities. Responsibilities also include organizing activities to promote whole-Child development, adapting teaching methods, and maintaining a safe, organized classroom environment.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be 19 years or older and possess a high school diploma or ged, along with a minimum of 1.5 years of full-Time work experience with school-Age children in a licensed setting. Required competencies include demonstrated success in teamwork, strong oral and written communication, and effective supervision skills.
