Responsible for preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults. Provides aural rehabilitation and augmentative and alternative communication systems for individuals with severe expressive and/Or language comprehension disorders.

Requirements summary

Candidates must have a current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology and a certificate of clinical competence in speech-Language pathology. Current cpr certification is also required, with preferred experience of one year in the field.
