Certified Peer Support Specialist

The certified peer support specialist will use personal lived experience to support members with mental health or substance use challenges, acting as a key connector between members, clinical teams, and providers to promote recovery-Oriented care. This role also involves facilitating various training programs for members, providers, and community partners.

Candidates must possess an active state-Recognized certified peer support specialist certification, at least two years of experience working as a cpss, and two years of prior authorization processing experience in an insurance or pharmacy setting. A requirement also includes having lived experience with mental health and/Or substance use recovery and reliable transportation.
