School Social Worker - DC

The school social worker will prevent, assess, identify, and support social-Emotional needs affecting students' ability to access learning, while also coaching staff on universal sel interventions. This role involves active participation in school teams (Sped, 504, mtss) to ensure appropriate screening, evaluation, and implementation of individual plans for students with social-Emotional needs.

Candidates must possess a master’s degree or higher in social work along with a valid state/District school social work endorsement/Licensure (Pel). A proven record of success and a persistent mindset towards achieving success for every child are essential qualifications for this role.
