Instructors are responsible for conducting tennis lessons for both group and private settings, adhering to the district's teaching plan while emphasizing fun and exercise. This includes teaching all aspects of the tennis program, recognizing student flaws, and leading them through correction and improvement processes.
Requires tournament or high school team experience as well as an intermediate level of understanding of the rules of tennis and of the desired strokes. Must possess tennis playing skills to perform well beyond those of the students assigned. Ability to interact with other Instructors, support staff, supervises students and their family members is essential. Selected individual must have a high comfort level teaching children and adults. An intermediate level of written and verbal communication skills in the English language is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked for our District.
