Adjunct Instructor/Humanities including English Studies, Spanish & American Sign Language, and Philosophy

The primary responsibility is teaching courses within humanities disciplines such as english studies, spanish & american sign language, and philosophy, which includes instructional activities, academic advising, and working with students outside of class. Faculty may also be required to engage in professional development and service activities like administrative tasks or committee work, especially if appointed for multiple terms.

Minimum qualifications for the adjunct instructor level require a master's or terminal degree in the discipline or a related field, or a bachelor's degree plus equivalency in professional experience, along with demonstrated teaching potential. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in the discipline, demonstrated potential for teaching excellence, and commitment to student success.
