Physical Therapist Lic

The physical therapist aids patients in correcting or adjusting to disabilities by selecting and adapting physical therapy procedures based on physician's orders or new york state direct access statute. Essential functions include evaluating functional abilities, planning treatment programs, instructing patients and families, and recommending necessary modifications or adaptive devices.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in physical therapy and have completed relevant clinical education or equivalent experience. Applicants are required to have attained a temporary nys license and be eligible for full licensure in new york state.
