Physical Therapist Lic

Under supervision, the therapist aids patients in correcting or adjusting to disabilities by selecting and adapting physical therapy procedures based on physician's orders or new york state direct access statute. Essential functions include evaluating functional abilities, planning treatment programs, instructing patients and families, and providing various treatments.

A bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in physical therapy is required, along with completed relevant clinical education or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must also possess basic foundational knowledge of physical therapy practice and have attained a temporary nys license, being eligible for full licensure in new york state.
