Teacher

Employees in this role have the primary responsibility for supervising an assigned group of children, ensuring duties align with minimum standards for day care centers. This involves applying basic knowledge of child development, including discipline, behavior, and curriculum implementation.

Candidates must be at least 19 years old and possess a minimum of a child development credential (Cda) or an associate degree in early childhood education/Development or child development. A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred, along with experience working with children in a group setting.
