Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher is responsible for providing direct instruction and managing the development and performance of educational instructors at the community school of maryland. Key duties include implementing individualized education programs (Ieps), training staff on iep goals, monitoring behavioral programs, and maintaining classroom data and records.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's or master's degree and meet maryland state licensure requirements for a special education teacher, maintaining current licensure for employment. Preferred experience includes two years working with individuals with developmental disabilities in an instructional setting and previous supervisory experience.
