The instructor will educate members on fitness and wellness while ensuring member safety during group sessions. Essential duties include planning and leading exercise activities, setting up and monitoring equipment, and advising participants on class procedures.

The instructor will serve as a resource to educate members on various aspects of fitness and wellness, and are responsible for ensuring that safety of the members is not compromised. A group fitness instructor will act as a role model and resource for all patrons and staff.
Must have current certifications including adult CPR/AED.
Must be dependable and reliable.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position; promote and organize recreation programs; give individualized instruction to participants, enforce safety precautions and give first aid in the event of a mishap; establish and maintain good working relationships with participants, associates and the public.
