Summer Learning Academy - Group Educator- Gardner

The group educator supports a specific age group by assisting licensed teachers with morning academic instruction, reinforcing positive behaviors, and leading afternoon enrichment activities like stem, arts, and sports. They are vital in ensuring the wellbeing, safety, and social-Emotional growth of campers throughout the day, including during transitions and dismissal.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and possess a passion for supporting children's growth, with experience working with youth in instructional or camp settings being preferred. Candidates must maintain current first aid, cpr, and oxygen certifications or complete required ymca training upon hire, and be available for the full 5-Week program.
