About the Role

As a Summer Camp Counselor for our Pre-K and Kindergarten group, you’ll lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning, play, and social-emotional growth. You'll help create a safe and joyful summer experience while working closely with the camp team and families to ensure each camper has a positive, enriching experience. You will also: Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers throughout the day Lead planned activities and transitions based on a daily schedule Maintain camper accountability with frequent headcounts and attention to individual needs Support arrival and dismissal procedures Serve as a positive role model through professional conduct and enthusiasm Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents, campers, and team members Attend all required meetings and trainings Essential Skills & Experience: Must be at least 18 years old Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting; supervisory experience preferred Familiarity with a camp or similar group activity environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to engage and work effectively with children and team members Ability to plan, organize, and lead camp activities and games Strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
