School Social Worker

The school social worker assists students with emotional and social problems that affect their education and acts as a liaison between parents, schools, and agencies. They conduct evaluations, participate in iep meetings, provide social work services, and develop behavior intervention plans.

Candidates must have a master's in social work and licensure or certification as a school social worker, along with two or more years of successful school social work experience. Skills in assessment, communication, and knowledge of behavior intervention strategies are essential.
