Special Education Teacher

The role involves providing direct support services to special education students within the regular classroom setting and consulting with general education teachers on planning, adaptations, and accommodations. Key duties also include team teaching in core academic areas and assisting in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with a special education endorsement, or a master's degree qualifying for temporary or full approval as a special education teacher. Preferred experience includes successful special education teaching, alongside skills in interviewing, treatment techniques, and effective written and oral communication.
