The behavior technician will collaborate with clinical supervisors and bcbas to implement aba therapy principles, collect necessary data on behavior and skill acquisition, and implement behavior support plans as directed. They must also effectively manage learners, including physical crisis intervention protocols, while maintaining a safe environment.

Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of aba experience working with children or adolescents with autism in a supervised setting, and must acquire and maintain rbt credential within 90 days. Preferred background includes enrollment or completion of a degree in psychology, education, aba, or a related field, along with strong critical thinking and communication skills.
