IHS Designated Coordinator

The ihs designated coordinator meets with, sets up, and provides ongoing training and support to individuals accessing the individualized home supports with training (Ihs) program. This involves assisting participants with life skills development in 1:1 in-Home and in-Community settings to maintain independence.

Candidates must meet specific educational and experience criteria, such as a bachelor's degree plus one year of direct care experience, or an associate's degree plus two years, or a diploma plus three years, or 50 hours of education plus four years of direct care experience. Additional requirements include 1 year in a human service field, demonstrated critical thinking, excellent organizational skills, and possessing a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
