Volunteer Substitute Teacher

Substitute teachers are responsible for implementing provided lifewise curriculum lesson plans on an as-Needed basis while maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment according to policies. Duties also include taking attendance, maintaining classroom order, and communicating with the lead teacher and volunteers.

Candidates must possess a mature personal christian faith and actively participate in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the lifewise academy statement of faith. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate excellence in biblical knowledge, teaching abilities, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
