Substitute teachers are responsible for implementing provided LifeWise curriculum lesson plans on an as-needed basis while maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment according to policies. Duties also include taking attendance, maintaining classroom order, and communicating with the lead teacher and volunteers.
LifeWise substitute teachers will demonstrate excellence in Biblical knowledge and teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is caring, perceptive and proficient in teaching students.
