Market context

Illinois Teacher Assistant roles stay competitive

In Illinois, Teacher Assistant roles for ages 0–3 are often in demand where early childhood programs need staff with infant-toddler experience and the right credentials. These positions can be competitive because employers may require an Associate's Degree or 60 college credits with ECE coursework, plus a Gateways Infant Toddler Credential Level 4 and the ability to lift 30 lbs. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm your credential match and highlight any infant-toddler classroom experience in your application.
