Duties

  • Will be expected to lead 3-5 Sessions as well as 1-2 games per weekend from October until mid-November.
  • Plan and conduct soccer training sessions for players of various ages and skill levels
  • Teach fundamental soccer skills, techniques, and strategies
  • Develop and implement practice drills and game plans
  • Provide guidance and feedback to players to help them improve their performance
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive learning environment
  • Ensure the safety of all players during training sessions and games
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding player progress and team updates
  • Attend team meetings, coaching clinics, and workshops to enhance coaching skills

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities require by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Qualifications

  • - 2+ years of experience in soccer and working with children
  • Knowledge of soccer rules, strategies, and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage behavior and maintain discipline during training sessions and games
  • Patience and enthusiasm for working with children of all ages
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
