Family Advocate-Center Based

The incumbent supports families in achieving self-Sufficiency by developing family partnership agreements, making necessary referrals, and advocating for their goals. Responsibilities also include collaborating with service providers to ensure children receive required screenings and maintaining accurate family records.

A minimum requirement is volunteer or regular work experience in the social service field, though an associate or bachelor degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must possess knowledge of social work principles and strong skills in listening, interviewing, and collaborative work with diverse community organizations.
