SPED - Resource Teacher 6-8

The sped resource teacher is responsible for maintaining detailed student service logs, creating and modifying lessons, and delivering both small group and individual student services as mandated by the iep. This role also requires collaboration with general education teachers, facilitating academic and state testing, and managing all required documentation.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 24 credit hours in the content area and hold a valid indiana teaching license for grades k-6 or k-12. Preferred qualifications include experience with core knowledge, blended learning, or at least two years of successful teaching experience in an urban environment.
