Core responsibilities
This role primarily involves providing substitute coverage for teachers who are absent or on break, and assisting classroom teachers with daily routines such as opening/Closing classrooms, material preparation, and direct student supervision during activities like play, meals, and naptime. Additionally, the support teacher is responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness and organization throughout the school facilities.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess an eec teacher certification, cda, or equivalent degree and experience, along with prior daycare experience in a center-Based or private school setting. Essential requirements include the ability to work 30-40 hours weekly between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, physical capability to spend extended time on the floor and lift up to 50lbs, and possessing an energetic, team-Focused mindset.
