Core responsibilities
This role assists the mental health consultant and staff in the care and early education of children aged birth to five who require early intervention for social, emotional, and behavioral development. The assistant is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and culturally appropriate learning environment while actively engaging with children during all daily activities.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged along with at least one year of experience working with children exhibiting social, emotional, and/Or behavioral deficits. Required certifications include basic s.t.a.r.s. Training (Or obtaining it within 12 months), first aid/Cpr, and a food handler's permit, alongside passing a state background check.
