Special Education Teacher, Elementary (To build a candidate pool)

Teachers are responsible for igniting a passion for learning, helping students master academic and social-Emotional skills, and planning, implementing, and reflecting on instruction to prepare students for success. They must hold high expectations, set goals using ongoing assessments, and collaborate with teams to foster a culture of excellence.

Candidates must possess a maryland state teacher certification or eligibility to obtain one, and be eligible for hire by baltimore city public schools. Two years of teaching experience in a public school is strongly preferred, along with a passion for working with students from historically resilient communities.
