Core responsibilities
The teacher will be responsible for creating and delivering differentiated instruction tailored to individualized education programs (Ieps) and monitoring student progress to adjust goals as necessary. Key duties also involve collaborating with therapists, paraprofessionals, and families, while leading and supporting classroom instructional assistants.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree in special education or a related field is required, along with the lbs1 k-12 endorsement through isbe (Or be in the process of obtaining it). Preferred qualifications include two years of experience with children with developmental or intellectual disabilities and knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and isbe iep regulations.
