Core responsibilities
The lead instructional teaching assistant will support students with intellectual and developmental disabilities by implementing ieps and behavior plans while providing mentorship to other teaching assistants. They will also foster a therapeutic classroom environment and collaborate with families, teachers, and therapists to ensure student growth.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and an isbe substitute teacher certification. Two years of experience in special education, particularly with autism and i/Dd, is preferred.
