Swim Coach

The swim coach is responsible for leading swimmers through skill mastery and practices, ensuring a safe environment for learning competitive swimming and diving, and encouraging participants to have an enjoyable ymca experience. Responsibilities also include supervising swim meets, evaluating swimmer skills, and incorporating character development objectives aligned with ymca values.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school degree or equivalent and possess two years of directly related experience in developing and conducting programs. Required qualifications include the ability to work non-Traditional hours (Nights/Weekends) and proficiency in computer software used for running meets and swimmer lineups, along with specific instructor/Lifeguard certifications.
