Westtown School seeks a full-time Upper School Spanish Teacher to join our faculty in August 2026. The Upper School Spanish Teacher will teach four classes each semester. The successful candidate will be fluent in Spanish, be familiar with educational technologies, and have experience with and a passion for teaching in the target language. This role also includes full participation in the Upper School's co-curricular and residential life.
Full-time Upper School faculty members contribute to the academic, residential, and co-curricular programs in various capacities. Responsibilities include teaching classes, advising a small group of students, serving on school committees, participating in the co-curricular program by coaching interscholastic sports, leading lifelong fitness programs, or supporting collaborative programs such as theater or service. Faculty also contribute to the residential program as Dorm Parents or Dorm Affiliates, which includes one evening of weekly dorm duty and scheduled weekend responsibilities during the school year. On-campus housing may be available for faculty who participate in residential life, but is not guaranteed.
