The teacher will be responsible for planning and developing therapeutic and engaging classroom lessons based on educational principles and reviewing data to track student growth. They must provide high-quality education while fostering a classroom environment that develops self-worth and a love of learning.
Candidates should possess a strong passion for special education and trauma-informed care, aligning with education in a therapeutic environment and viewing education as a vocation. Preferred qualifications include a BS/BA, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from an accredited college, along with a Montana Teacher Certificate and Special Education Certification.

Plan and develop therapeutic and engaging classroom lessons centered around noted education principles. Review and dissect data to identify areas of student growth. Provide all students the highest quality education. Hold all members of our school community to high expectations in our collective pursuit of mission and vision. Elevate classroom learning to develop students’ sense of self-worth, wonder and a love of learning. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and develops a culture of excellence. Work cooperatively with Center for Excellence Clinical Coaches to learn from feedback and improve the quality of instruction. Communicate with parents, guardians, and treatment team members regularly regarding all aspects of student’s performance.
Strong passion and understanding of special education and trauma informed care. Familiar with and align with education in a therapeutic environment and view education as a vocation and are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty for the success of all students. A BS/BA, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from a fully accredited college or university is preferred, along with Montana Teacher Certificate. Special Education Certification
